Despite centuries of art the says otherwise, I like to remember that Jesus and the holy family were not blond blue-eyed Caucasians. Mostly because it tends to alarm some of the types of people I knew back home. Lately (unsurprisingly) I've also been thinking about the nativity.
If I'd finished this about two weeks earlier I would have loved to use this as a Christmas card.
